UNIVERS TYPE SPECIMEN BOOK

I designed this Type specimen booklet to highlight Adrian Frutiger's contribution to typography...and beyond. Since Frutiger did most of his work in the 50s, I thought I'd tell part of his story utilizing imagery from classic 1950s sci fi flicks. I created some original illustrations, used some PhotoShop magic, printed and did the binding of the book myself. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience to see it all come together the way I had planned.
